1. Information We Collect

We collect data necessary to provide high-fidelity transcription and AI analysis:

• A. Account InformationManaged via Clerk. We collect your email address, name, and profile details provided during authentication.
• B. Uploaded ContentWe collect and store audio and video files you upload. We also store the resulting transcripts, AI summaries, translations, and repurposed content (e.g., blog posts, social media snippets) generated via our platform.
• C. Usage DataAutomatically collected via our backend (Convex), including IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and interaction logs with our transcription engine.

2. AI Processing & Third-Party Providers

To deliver automated insights, your content is processed by specialized AI infrastructure:

• Gemma (Google) / DeepSeek: Your content may be transmitted to these AI providers to generate transcripts, summaries, and repurposed text. These providers process content to generate outputs but are not authorized by us to use your data for training their public models.
• Clerk: For secure user authentication and session management.
• Convex: For real-time database management and secure cloud storage of your transcripts and metadata.
• Paddle: Our Merchant of Record for all financial transactions. We do not store credit card details; all payment data is processed by Paddle in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

We maintain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:

• Retention PeriodUploaded files, transcripts, and AI-generated outputs are retained on our secure Convex storage for as long as your account remains active, allowing you to access and manage your content history.
• Right to ErasureYou may delete individual transcripts or files through your dashboard at any time. For a permanent deletion of your entire account and all associated data, contact us at yaseen@transcriptor.pro. We will process these requests within 30 days.

4. International Data Transfers

Transcriptor Pro is operated from Pakistan. By using our service, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and processed in countries where our infrastructure providers operate (primarily the United States). We ensure that all third-party partners maintain rigorous data protection standards equivalent to international norms.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to your uploaded content is restricted to the authenticated user account and essential automated processing scripts. While we strive for absolute security, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Compliance Statement

Transcriptor Pro operates in full compliance with Paddle's Acceptable Use Policy. We do not process prohibited content categories (including but not limited to illegal material, hate speech, or high-risk financial data). We are a legitimate software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform dedicated to content productivity.
